  • Yamaha 1100 vs 1200 non-pv

    How can you tell the difference between an 1100 core vs and 1200 non-pv core? I need to get my ski engine rebuilt but I think the engine is a 1100 block but my ski is a 1999 1200 SUV.

    1100 has a single pulse line at the rear above the reed cage. 1200 has three, one at each.

      Maybe cast on the block, 1100 --> 63M, std 1200 --> 65U I think is the designation.
