VX110 Won't Start
History of vx110:
I bought it used from a rental shop on Aug 12, 2007
Things I have done to date:
1) change spark plugs
2) replace air filter ( I have check filter after oil change and its good)
3) change oil and oil filter
Has any one had this problem?? 2006 xv110, 250 hours on it, I have a good strong spark, I have lots of fuel going to the injectors, engine turns over easy under via start motor. It want to start but die right away.
Problem leading up to this point.
Run it out at full tilt hit a wave and it would bog down and die. it won't start right away unless you wait ten minutes and then it would start right up and go again. Now if I ride it at 5000 rmp and just do "S" pattern in the water it will run fine for about an hour.
This is my best guess what could be the problem:
1) timing out of wack!
2) valves need to be adjusted.
3) Throttle position sensor
Any inputs would help me greatly.... thanks!!
