no spark, wont start, turns over normal

i rode my gp1200 the other day, ran perfect, i hit a wave and my lanyard came off kill switch. I inserted lanyard back into start/stop and tried to start it, and it just turned over and wouldnt start. got it home and it is not getting any spark. Fuse is good, battery good.

I'm suspecting CDI might have gone bad on me, $317 for new one at dealer.

Any ideas from anyone would be appreciated

If you have min of 10.5 volts while cranking then the battery is good, If not check battery. If the battery is good then CDI is possibly failing, there is no good test to verify if a CDI is good or bad, they usually just stop working.
