  • Gp1200r -02

    I have just bought a gp1200r -02 with 102hours on it.
    Is that many hours ?
When is it time to top-end kit and crank rebuild ?

I live in sweden... what would the shipping cost be for Cylinder Exchange Top-End Kit ? :beer

    Re: Gp1200r -02

You have to contact sales for pricing, 120 hrs is alot of time on that motor but that doesn't mean its not a good running machine, Power valves and rear main seals are the two big problems with that motor. The rear main seals blow out from back fireing and power valves break and fall into the cylinders and destroy the motor. Keep an eye on the rear seal and buy Wave Eater power valve clips to save your power valves.

No the motor has to come out of the watercraft and crankcase has to be split to install the new seal.
