96 yamaha waveraider stalls when turning left

Amazing that I was just logging on with the same issue. My 701 runs fine except when turning left it boggs. The compression in the front cyl is 140 and the rear 115. Is this enough compression? I installed an sbt engine about 3 years ago and the carb had been rebuilt 1 month before replacing the engine. Do you think my issue is a dirty carb?

Yes, I did just see the post below with the 1100 that is also stalling.

It could be, Open it up and look into it, also check the internal fuel filter behind the fuel pump.

Also your compression should be with in 10% of each cylinder. Your just about in need of a rebuild.
