I recently received my new impeller housing from SBT for my 96 wave venture. As I was inspecting it to make sure it looked like the old one, I noticed that the old housing has a female recess on one side and a male protrusion on the other side, it looks like they interlock with the other pump parts. The new housing doesn't have this, it is flush on each side. Did I get the wrong part? Everything else looks identical.

When you bolt the new one to the stator it will push the plastic ring to the proper distance as the old one looks. Tom SBT tech.SBT Tech Support is here to help with your problems.
