        Do following, compression check.
When was the last carb rebuilt if not known they need to be checked.

Add carb and choke cleaner to the gas. This should get you by. The carb Diaphragm may need replacing good off season project. if this does not work. Check the fuel filters. I would only do the carb as a last result.

Dont put carb and choke cleaner in the gas. It will break down any crap in the fuel lines and any thing in the fuel valve then it will clog up the internal fuel filters in the carb and burn up your motor. It sounds like your running a bit rich, whats your carb settings?

Yes you can, but is your battery dieing on you? When you flushed out the ski, did you have the water running into the motor with out the engine running? You might have water in the motor from the last time you flushed it causing it to lock up. Let us know how you make out.

after i flush it i take the hose off while its running and i wait till the water stops running out of the tell tail then i shut it then i start it back up 2 more times just to make sure there is no more water but if there was water in it and i took the plugs out than should the water come out when i crank it over

A compression test should show you that you have a head gasket problem. When the ski heats up the head flexes enough to suck air and water through engine..been there done that.. I'll bet you also need a battery too...

well i also have another thread out about my ski not starting and in the end i have found out that the inmpeller is jaming up with the housing or i guess you call it the lining now i have only driven the ski 3 times i am wondering if that is the cause of the bogging problem the whole time

Great news.. I Hope that is was the problem. I can't figure out the wet plug.. Usually engines sound loaded up if propeller gets bound..

Oh Well! Thank God for little problems..
My ski has a bad emm or ecm module.. but Kawaski came through and is sending me a new unit..Seems they know of a problem with the 2000 stxdi units..I'm the original owner and have done all the proper maintance and had the unit servived every year a the dealer and they came through for me... only going to cost service fee.. $96.00 what good news could have been $1200.00 plus..
