gp1200 = air intake

Does anyone know how much K&N air intakes will improve a stock, non-powervalve 1200. Top end? hole shot? Not much? I'm not racing, just wondering.

How much carb work has to be done? having already suffered a melted piston once, I'm not real excited about repeating that experience.

Jetting will have to be richened up and you may have to drop pop-off pressure a little.
