Its been a while since I have been on here.
I put an SBT engine in MY 99 GP1200 about 3 yrs ago. The summer of the engine replacement there was just enough time to break the motor in. Then had to winterize.
The next summer I ran the ski about 10 hrs max. - Too busy
Now this summer the first time out the ski started running really bad at idle. Opened the seat to find a lot of metal flakes and alot of oil around the rear seals.
After taking off the coupler housing both seals were blown out and back against the coupler.
Can I just pull the motor and put new seals in it or is there possibly other major damage done.
Please advise me on what to do.
Thanks
