I may not have a problem but just wanted to get another opinion. Yesterday while my son was riding my ski the speedometer went from 46 to 0 even though he was still at full throttle. He came on back to the dock and told me and about an hour later I tried it and it did start out at 0 for a few seconds and then it finally started registering. I just wanted to know if someone can tell me where the sensor is that gauges the speed (maybe its blocked or corroded) also while I was riding it at full throttle the rpm gauge was at max (almost into the red area) is this normal, it may be that I just don't remember it being that maxed out on the led display. I just wanted to make sure as I have had a lot of different teenagers riding it lately and they seem to try their best to tear it up! This Yamaha is like my fourth child and I don't want to blow anything. No warning lights went off during either of these situations. If anyone knows I would appreciate it.
