  • Waverunner docked in bay water for one week?

Next week will be the very first time I will have my waverunner tied up at a boat slip (Jersey Bay) for an entire week without flushing the engine out daily after each use. After I pull this thing out of the water, other than flushing it for 15-20 minutes, is there anything else I can or should do (maybe some type of additive or flushing chemical) in an attempt to reverse the effects of salt water on the engine? Thanks

Not a good idea to leave any ski in the water for a week, I think I would consider an auto bilge pump in it befor you leave in for that long and use salt away flush solution when you pull it back out and flush it.
