will not rev up 650 wr3

brand new 650 from sbt and new carb, new spark plugs engine will idle rough but will not rev up sometime i can very slowly throttle to about 1/4 other times you even touch it it just shuts off i have checked everything except waterbox..........thanks in advance

Is your new carb set up to run on that engine, Jetting correct and adjustments correct?

yes i checked the jets its correct. it idles rough also

also i check the water box it is in good condition also unpluges the overheat sensor

is it an sbn 44mm mikuni carb If so I have a tuning guide. Very detailed adjustments. It not just a plug and play carb. you have to tune it for proper runing habits. If it's a 44mm or a 38mm.

Low speed mixture screw
High speed mixture screw
idle screw

Low speed on the linkage side
High speed on the side the fuel hoses connect.

To start each should be about 3/4 to 1 turn out from the seat.
Never tighten the screw hard against the seat...

it is a sbn 44 i have tried stock setting then the extreme of each side still just idles won't rev up

This may sound stupid - but I'll ask anyway just to make sure you know what your up against.
1. Did you install a new base gasket under the carb ?
2. Is the throttle cable and linkage to the handlbars working correctly?
Cable is free and not binding when disconnected from carb linkage?
3. Fuel Selector valve clean and not plugged up?
4. Fuel filter clean and not plugged up?

Check and post results
