    Yamaha 1994 Waver runer 3

    Basically my engine is over heating and I don't know why. It warped the head (I got it planed) it has a small knock, and the pistons have a few scores in them. (the cyl has no damage that i can see with my naked eye) It always ran hot but i continued riding it. Now after it warped the little problem is now a big one and I have no clue why this is happening.

    Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

        I have checked the cooling I had everything apart and there was some built up but I got most of it off( that was in the manifold, the water jacket around the cly are clean.) I appreciate your quick response but it doesn't seem to be the problem. Also I replaced the jet pump about 2 years ago and it ran hot before and after that so I dough the problem is there. Is it my beat up piston causing this?
