No transmitter key!?

I have a 2005 Yamaha waverunner vx110 & do not have the transmitter key. It is stuck in L-Mode which I was told was limp or low mode. So they said I am losing a good amount of my power. I was wondering if there was some way I could bypass the key and disconnect it by hand without having to buy a new key? As I have checked the prices of a new key and they are outrageous. Any help? thank you

Is the L-Mode light on? If so bring it to yamaha and have them use another remote and a entry box to clear the L-Mode, dont know if they will do it, but its worth a try, if not you might have to buy a new transmitter
