  • no antifreeze for xl1200 ltd?

Hi, I read there is no need to put antifreeze through yamaha's. Why is this? I ran some rv through when flushing just for piece of mind.

    Thanks

from what i gather, the water just drains out of the motor and into the muffler. I disconnected the hose to the water box and also drained the water left in the muffler. Pickle fed while running with 2 stroke oil, fogger and stablizer. then put 1 ounce of 2strok oil in each cylinder with additional fogger and bumpped her over. I think i'm golden. Comments??? Thanks!!!

Sounds good, remove the battery and use a trickle charger once a mounth for 6 to 8 hrs to keep the battery good, Add stabilizer to the fuel tank.

yup, battery is on the trickle charger and the fuel had the stabalizer with the ethanol fuel treatment. No need to worry about water in the block with anti freeze or not right as it just drains into the muffler?
