Oil in bilge of 1996 WVT1100U Wave Venture

I recently purchased a 1996 Wave Venture and there was some oil in the bilge (I'm guessing about 1/2 quart mixed with water and other bilge poop). While familiarizing myself with things I found what appears to be oil return line that goes from the oil pump to the "T" fitting atop the oil tank was disconnected from the tank fitting and dangling in the bilge. Does a sufficient amount of oil frow through this line to create the bilge mess I'm seeing? I have since reconnected the line but could any damage have been done in the meantime? Thanks!

I dont think any damage was done, it just made a mess in your hull.
