  • gp1200 rear main seal leak

    Just stared it up after being set up for the winter and I have exhaust coming out of the rear seal. This is the 2nd time. What am I doing wrong.

    Yamaha's are famous for blowing out rear crank seals. If the engine back fires or any water gets into that rear cylinder it blows the seal out. Is your motor a powervalved motor?

      It's a 97 so a non-powervalve
