i am about to replace the seals in my yamaha 1100 1996, the old seals were already blown out so im not 100 % sure which way to face the new seals?
both seals have a outer lip, and one is wider than the other (outside one i guess)
so my question is, do i face the new seals so the lips are facing the crankcase or do they face the coupling?
im guessing by the look they face the crankcase but would rather know for sure
