  • Help! GP1200r

I have a 2000 gp1200r millennium edition with 70hrs on it. I originally bought it used with 66hrs on it. Pretty much got about 2 good days out of it before everything hit the fan, literally. Had a warp impeller housing which caused the impeller to not spin. However I got that issue fixed. Now the real issue, apparently the oil pump was never connected. I dont remember the person who sold it to me mentioning anything about premixing(I could be wrong). Cylinders 2 and 3 are fine, however 1 is completely gone. My question is if I were to due a complete cylinder exchange what are the possibilties of other problems occuring. Here are the options that I have thought of so far.

-Just fix cylinder 1 (I was advised however that I wouldnt get the same performance)
-Complete cylinder exchange (The engine was running completely dry of oil for 2 days of riding, due I have a high risk of other things going wrong to the engine?)
-Engine swap (Can only afford it if its less than $800)
    -Part it out

This is my last attempt to get it fixed, I cannot continue to put more money into it. This is my first waverunner and I could really use some advice, thanks.

first thing i would do is..find out what caused it to fry..second..if you rebuild that burnt cylinder with another cylinder..by no means mix and match the cylinders..make sure you use nic-plated to replace the bad one..if you use a oem piston from yamaha..you will need the rings from them also. as i have read..sbt's rings wont work with oem pistons ??..this is what i read so far...check..and double check all your oil lines..fuel lines..every last inch from your tank to your carbs !!..if you have a bad crank..or bad front crank seal..your going to have to replace it..or your going to fry another piston and cylinder...i know this..as i'm going through this same game rigt now...but in my case..it was the rear cylinder..not the front.
