2000 yamaha ls 2000 jet boat steering problem

Hello,

I was wondering if someone could help me with some steering problems ive been having. The actual steering isnt broken, its just really really stiff. When i turn either left or right there is a ton of resistance and takes alot of arm just to turn. Ive driven alot of boats before and ive never came across one that has tight steering like this. Just curious if other people have had this problem and may know a solution for it. Is there an adjustment on the cables or grease fittings somewhere? Any info on this would help out alot.

The cable is not serviceable, disconnect it from the nozzle and see if the nozzle is stiff when turned by hand.
