Magneto flywheel cleaning: 65U non-pv 1200cc

When I pulled the flywheel cover off, I noticed the magnets and other stuff inside the flywheel cover looked pretty oily/dirty. What is the procedure and what do you use to clean the inside of the flywheel cover?

I use the parts washer fluid to clean all the components on the engine including the magneto, any type of kerosene or degreaser should work fine.
