You really need to see what your cylinders look like to truly tell what’s going on. Remove the head and look into the cylinders for signs of scuffing on the walls, if you see scuffing you are probably sticking a piston and that’s what is shutting the engine off. In a case like this if the cylinder is not getting fed enough fuel the piston gets too hot too fast and expands rapidly and grabs the cylinder wall (sticking the piston). Correct fuel flow, meaning clean and properly adjusted carbs is everything to having a 2 stroke engine survive, starve it on fuel and its TOAST. If you find scuffing, 9 out of 10 times is from dirty carbs or an air leak in the crankcase leaning out your fuel mixture. Start by inspecting the cylinders for damage, if you find damage go into the carbs for the possibly cause, if carbs are PERFECT then look for air leaks in the crankcase. Crank seals or case halves leaking or cylinder base gaskets that might have failed will case an air leak and a lean condition.
