  • 1200XLT piston ring gap

I'm replacing piston and rings on my 2001 1200xlt. I'm using oem piston and rings. what is the ring gap suppose to be? proper ring and piston installation info would be a great help too.

4-5 thou, make sure you oil up the pistons and rings when you install them, make sure the ring gap is on the exhaust side too.
