Jet Pump Rebuild: 98 Waverunner XL1200: 65U non-pv

This is more of a general question and I would like an answer from someone who has actually done this on this vintage of ski:
I need to change the bearings/oil seal in this pump. I am getting the SBT rebuild kit and have the maintenance manual. I'm looking for advice on "gotchas" or parts of doing this that are tricky. Any help would be appreciated.

There is nothing tricky about it, just follow the manual and pay close attention to how the drive shaft comes out when removing it from the pump.
