  • 96 wave venture 1100 drive shaft seized to intermediate shaft

My pump assembly will not come out. I have taken it out on my other ski, no problem. I gave up and brought it to the dealer. They cannot get it out and say they have never seen one like this. Has anybody had this problem ? I was actually thinking of cutting an access hole in the hull on top of the shaft and cutting it before the intermediate shaft. Any help / suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Ed

Ed, don't cut the hull. I have used an air chisel behind the coupler to break lose the rust in the shaft, it does take some work but will work. other option is air grinder with a cut off wheel, remove the intake grate and cut.

Thanks for the info. Not sure why I didn't think of that.
