yamaha ls 2000

I am doing a top end rebuild on a yamaha ls 2000 and i am putting the cylinder head back on do i need to put gasket sealant and gasket on before doing so or just the new gasket. I have always used the gasket sealant with 4 strokes just do not know about this.

It wouldn't heart to spray some copper coat in it.

Well i was reading your technical information about putting high tack gasket sealer on the paper gaskets not the copper sealer. I really do not like the high tack it is not very easy to work with

I'm not big on it myself but some people love it, I use permatex ultra copper for most everything that requires sealant.
