The ski started and ran great up until the moment it wouldn't restart. No cranking, no click. Have 12.9 volts at the battery, fuse, red wire of starter switch connector, brown wire of starter switch connector when start button pressed, and presumably at the starter relay. What should be my next step? I'm not sure how to get at the electrical unit black box to check/replace the relay. Do I have to remove the engine hood assembly. Thanks for your help!

Look inside the hull for the electrical box, when you find it, unscrew it from the hull so you can open it up and change out the starter relay. Make sure you disconnect the battery first.SBT Tech Support is here to help with your problems.

Re: 1996 Waveventure WVT1100U won't crank
My box is on the front of the engine and doesn't appear to be detatchable. The cover faces the gas tank and access to the 5 screws is near impossible. Even if I get the cover off, I don't think I'll be able to see inside.
Am I missing something that will make it easier?
