I have had this ski for two years and it has blown four CDI's. They are not a cheep item either. The last time I lost the CDI I replaced it and all the other electrical components as well. I also replaced most of the wiring harness and made sure all the connections and ground wires were good, clean and tight. Well...it blew out again. Can anyone tell me what is up with this problem? Thanks for any help!!

Are you charging the battery with the ski connected to it? if so Don't exceed 2amps on the charger. when the ski is running whats the battery charging at, it should not exceed 13.5 volts.

I always take the battery out when I charge it. I haven't checked the volts while the ski is running but I did put a brand new voltage regulator in it along with all the other electrical components. I will have to check the charging of the battery while it is running. Thank You for your time!!
