96 wave venture 1100, how to replace shaft coupler assembly

My original shaft was siezed into the coupler assembly. I cut it out and have used parts on the way. Do i have to move the motor to install the new assembly ?

thanks for the reply. How difficult is it to move the motor. looks like the back 2 engine mounts are accesable, does the exhaust have to come off ?
also do i need any new gaskets installing the coupler assembly ? and lastly are there any bearings or other parts you would replace before installing a used coupler and jet pump ? thanks again, Ed

You may have to remove some exhaust parts to get to the motor mounts up front, Dive into it and see what you may need for gaskets after you get the engine moved up. If you are replacing the coupler shaft then replace the bearing carrier seal assembly too.
