I have a black 2006 GP1300R. I replaced the cat with a D plate and disconnected the 02 sensor and put the chip in. The ski runs great. However, the warning light comes on and flashes an 02 sensor. I see the there is second sensor in the exhaust. Do I need to disconnect the second sensor and put a chip in its place?

Re: 2006 1300R D plate
all carb boats use a 1k ohm resistor (ready made chip)
efi 03-04 use a 1k ohm (or ready made chip)
efi 05-08 use a 2k or 2.2k (homemade)
ok, you have a 2006 1300 GPR, sometimes and very seldom you can get away with no chip, but with the cat temp sensor still in place and plugged in. In the event you get the "alarm" or code, you need a 2.2K resistor homemade chip... The manufactured chip is for the older skis and have a different value...
when removing the cat temp sensor from the exhaust stinger get an "Automotive Oil Drain plug" with a copper or aluminum gasket to screw in its place and torque to spec as per manual...1998 SeaDoo Challenger 1800
