engine missing past half trottle after warm up
My 92 waverunner 650 starts, idles, and runs fine until it starts to heat up then starts missing. I change plugs, cleaned plug wire leads, put in fuel treatment. Any suggestions?

Put in a new fuel filter, and while on a test run I notice that it runs alot better when facing a strong head wind. ?? -

Today if I get a chance I'm going to open some things up and see what could be restricting air to the carburater. Trouble shooting is tough for a jet ski rookie.Comment

The engine maybe getting hot and causing the issue, go through the cooling system and the exhaust water passages.SBT Tech Support is here to help with your problems.

my 2001 yamaha 2000 seems t be running out of fuel ? carbs have been rebuilt and still falls flat over 5000 rpm's.........Comment

I replaced the fuel filter and I'm currently rebuilding the carb. I hope that works.Comment

I rebuilt the carb and put new ends on the spark plug wires. The carb was really junked up and I think that was the problem. I still don't understand why it ran better into a head wind though.Comment
