New here and need little help please. This waveventure ran fine in the spring, today I hooked jumper cables to it from an under charged car battery--it spins normal,shot a little starting fluid-nothing, checked for spark--no spark. I checked a fuse in the box behind the engine, it is ok, the battery voltage just under 12.2Vdc --. What should I do next?

Could be a bad ground, check all grounds, battery has to have min.of 10.5 cranking volts to start the ski so check voltage while cranking.SBT Tech Support is here to help with your problems.

No spark to spark plugs....could be worn out spark plug wires or more simply the spark plug boots need to be replaced with good NGK type boots. From there it could be the lighting coil on the stator plate, had that go bad before. Make sure you are checking all this out with a fresh charged battery 12.35 volts or better.Comment
