I am in the process of installing an engine into my 05 FX HO hull. I am trying to install the factory exhaust (part # 12 in the attached pic). Are there any tricks or a particular sequence to installing the pipe? I wrestled with it for an hour and decided to take a break! Thanks in advance for the help!

Work the inner boot on 1st (part 16) then bolt the pipe to the block, then the water cover over 16 then the tail end into the hose on the water box.SBT Tech Support is here to help with your problems.

I actually left the bootom portion hooked up. Just had to walk away for a couple of days. When I went bak to work on the ski, the pipe "fell on". Literally hand it bolted up and clamps tightened with 10 minutes!Comment
