Converting to Gas-Oil Mix

After removing the oil pump system and converting to a gas-oil mix in a 1996 Yamaha Wave Venture, what do you do with the oil tank sensor wiring? Can it be cut, or just wound up and stored in the hull? Not sure if it affects the electronics in any way. Recommendations? Thanks.

If it has a float on it then flip it over and zip tie it in the full up position. Some people do cut the wires and connect them together.
