    ------->1100 Triple Middle Carb Fuel Leak???<------**HELP**

    Hi all, I have a 97 Wave Venture 1100 Triple. After having sat for about 2 years I went to get her ready for the water. I noticed a fuel leak at the back of the middle carb??? Fuel lines connecting the carbs all looks good. I pulled the carbs and checked the lines and it appears to be coming out of the back (opposite side of diaphragm pump on carb)???


    I pulled the cover off this area and didn't see anything straight away that would cause a leak. That is I didn't see any fractures or cracks to the cover piece that has the fuel nipples on it.

    Anyone out there have a similar problem or have any suggestions of what to suspect next?

    The gaskets may be dry and brittle you may have to replace them.

      Hi, thanks. I am hoping that's all it is. I did note that on the cover piece with the fuel nipples has a bit of a ragged edge in the dish portion of it.? Not sure why-my plan was to smooth it down and re-seal.

      Don't have any other explanation for the issue at this point.
