Question regarding the seats on the GP models.

I rode my friends 01 1200GP and **** its fast. but the seat is soo **** wide. It wasnt that comfortable to ride and I def cant stand up and ride comfortably.

I was looking to get a GP but im not liking the wide seat.

So here are the questions. lol
-Are the 800GP seats more narrow?
-Is there a difference in the seats between the years of the GP's?
-Any aftermarket seat that is a little more narrow?

Or is this it? haha take it or leave it!

I have a waveblaster and i might just be used to the really narrow seat but i like the feel of a more narrow seat.

All the gp seats are wide as hell

The GP1300R later model seats are a bit narrower.
on the older seats some have taken them to a marine upholstery shop and had the foam modified...

You will get used to the seat. keeps you planted sitting or standing when riding...
