Yamaha xl1200 hull with xl700 engine issue

I have used a xl1200 hull with xl700 engine and wiring, i encounter issue when riding.

First it was riding with power and after awhile the engine seems to run buggy.

Engine: xl700 with dual caburator.
When i use one fuel line to one of the caburator and the other as return it won't get gasoline to the filter, i need to split one line to both caburator.

Does anyone one knows how to get the display to work with xl700 engine and wiring?

Follow a fuel line diagram for a twin carb 701, the 1200 gauge may not work with the wiring from the 701, you may have to find a gauge from an xl700.
