I just find it strange that he went after the site and not the individuals that made the supposed coments...I thught these forums had T.O.S. agreements that steered all liable from the actual site..

Oh well there goes the freedom of speech thing..

Because he can't do anything to them because it true..... So his only option is to go after PWC2day's and its sponsors to pressure them to delete anything he "perceives" as slanderous or scaring the sponsors into ceasing to advertise with PWC2day, which could kill that site.

it's one thing for the sea-doo guys to squabble about their difference’s on SDN and PWC.. but now its cutting into my time. I’ve supported people on all these site’s with my opinions and expertise only, not advertising.

Law suits have no place on message forums. if your company has a good reputation it will show. no need for any law suits.

what a waste of energy. in my mind it cause me to think LESS (a whole lot less) of the person causing all this. Now, I’m really starting to wonder about their credibility….

Either way, this is not good for the sport…

There are about 70 posts at SDN right now about this subject that NONE of them know a thing about, and of the 70 posts, 65 are how wrong PWC Today is to be running there website the way they do, and how great SDN is, and why they have the "right" to shut down PWC Today.

I have to wonder about the mentality of a group ( lynch mob) of people that just assume PWC Today has done something wrong to SDN or Glen Perry, just because Mr. Perry has made some theats to pwc Today, or it's advertisers.

Personally, I'll need a bunch more information before I judge either of them guilty of anything......... But I have my doubts about the validity of such an action.

I have known the folks at PWC Today for a long time. I cannot see them wasting their time purposuly putting down SDN. It just doesn't make sense.

Until today I didn't really care what they did at http://www.sea-doo.net or how Glen ran is business but stuff like this is not going to make him any friends.
I can't see this being good for Glen Perry or his business.

Anyways I hope everything works out for pwctoday.com I frequent the board and enjoy using it. Wish you the best of luck!! By them shutting down the board there are giving into GP in my opinion because thats exactly what he wants them to do. Hopefully pwctoday has everything under control.

but be careful trying to fan these flames or you are no different.

I was personally approached via email by one of your sales staff in response to my asking for the price of an engine rebuild on SDN. I was also asking here when I was shopping around for a place to get a new motor. I thought it was underhanded and sleezy. Glen was the first to stop the thread and hold back letting that info out.

He has always stopped flaming on his site and did not allow for bad mouthing of SBT to get carried away. if someone was answering a question about opinions on a particular part fine. but if anyone started saying stuff like "SBT sucks" etc, he would put an immediate stop to it.

lets just ride this thing out and give it more than two hours and an inflammatory biased statement on one site get us all at each others throats.

I still have all the emails archived in there is any question as to the validity.

Bill, you have been very helpful to me in the past, as well as glen. And Glen spoke highly of you and your skills when this incident I mentioned before happened. just said it seemed like there might be a bad apple using such underhanded tactics. and it stopped there.

It is all crazy. I post at many web sites and it is not good for all the bashing of people. To me if I have a problem with a company I go to them directly not post my greif on a web site. All businees have good and bad experiences. It is a shame this is going on.

So now we have to wait and see what is going to happen. It would be a shame to see pwctoday close, it would not be good for the PWC community.

Well all I can say about it, is it was nice to chat with all of you in AIM tonite. Though I was banned over there, I missed everyone. But I do hope things get cleared up for Rob, Bobbi and family (yes, been banned there too), but they are great people and don't need the B/S.

Dude, GP has a whole slew of alias member names at sea-doo.net and every once and a while he posts a nastie about somebody or some company's service under the guise of a disgruntled member. They stay up for the day and then repeated without fail at chosen intervals. It's GPSOP (Glen Perry standard operating procedure).

I have watched this repeatedly for 5 years. Taking PWCTODAY out would be just another step to silence fellow jetskiers. If the dude has good products he has nothing to fear except his own. Believe me, the guy knows no shame.

I am not asking sarcastically. seriously, I would like to know. because I have had the oppurtunity to meet most of the guys/gals over there and recognize their screen names.

I can add to this one! I attended a FRS event, even helped out with the BBQ etc and it was like he, Connie and I were old buddies. There was a huge turn of events when a member, who's name I will not mention other than in a PM or email, who has never attended an event and goes out of his way to bash doo's on other boards that came online and started slandering me. Who got banned? ME! Enuf said!
