I have a kawasaki 1100 it ran fine last year and this year I fill the gas tank it started up great I went out ride after a few mins. the gas gauge started going down and the warning light came on. I went back to the dock and opened the gas cap. Gas came pouring out under a lot of pressure. after that started right up and it happened again gas came out again. Called a dealer and that said the cap was shot. I am not sure hoping to get any other suggestions thanks

The gas tank has 1 way check valves to keep light pressure in the tank, but it sounds like yours are not working, look for check valves on the tank and replace them.
