When you put the bellows back on the housing, make extra sure it is seated in the groove on the housing. My motor was leaking there. It was not seated completely from SBT. Just looking at it, it looked fine but after closer inspection, it wasn't on there good.

There is only one oring on the stem of the rave valve on a 787 motor. A 951 has two orings.

Sometimes a leaky rave valve is a symptom of a leaking needle and seat in the carb, a bad sparkplug wire connection, a fouled sparkplug, or just a very rich fuel mixture from that carb. The fluid that leaks from a rave valve is unburnt fuel.

Can I ask what killed both your motors @ the same time? I have a 98 speester and I just want to know what to look for.

          Thanks
