    Re: Primer for a 97XP

I put a primer kit on my ski the first month I owned it. Yes, it goes in the hole where the choke was. The little fuel ine gets routed through the handle bars into the hull. You can use the hole on the carb bracket where the choke cable was to keep it neat and organized. Like Bill says, you need to JB weld the plugs if you want to keep them. Use the top for the primer line/nipple, although it doesn't matter ( I screwed up and used the bottom).

The ski will fire right up with the primer, and I'm sure you will save on a starter down the road somewhere.

Just to make sure that I am doing it right

Do I leave all of the plastic bushings in the openings where the choke came out?

Do I just need to put some JB weld between the brass connectors and the carb?

      Thanks
