  • Crankcase torque specs

    Hi i have a 95 hx with a 657x does anyone know the torque specs for the 13 and 11mm hex head and allen head crankcase bolts? thanks.

    considering your inner crank issue, and additional questions, a free manual is the most important tool in your shop!!

    The 13mm is 30 ft lbs
    The 11mm is 17 ft lbs
    the hex is 17 ft lbs

    PS - Also... you SURE you have a 657x?? The HX never came with a 657x.. 717's only..

      Thank you, yea it says 657x on the fly wheel cover.

        That still doesn't mean it's a 657.. The cover's interchange....

        Still strange though, it may BE a 657x.. But those never came stock in an HX..

        Since you need to torque specs.. I assume the motor is apart?? What is written on the top of the pistons?
