04 Rxp Bad vibration and no thrust

I am working on a freinds ski and rebuilt the pump with a SBT pump rebuild kit with a wear ring and also put in the carbon ring and floating washer. Put the ski in the water and at idle you can feel thrust coming out of the pump but when you give it throttle the ski starts to vibrate and doesn't have any power to even try to get up on plan.
It was doing the same before the pump rebuild (I thought it might be because of the grooves in the wear ring) at least the carbon ring is keeping the water out. It is an 04 RXP, any help would be appreciated.

It could be many different things, Are the motor mounts broke? Impeller splines damaged, Drive shaft splines damaged, intake grate damaged, start with the simple things and see if you find anything.
