05 RXP using oil

Hi all, newbie here. I bought used a 2005 RXP with SBT rebuild motor in it last year. 120 hrs on the clock, about 50 or 60 on the motor. It runs great but uses about 1/2 qt of oil per tank of gas. No leaks, no smoke and I don't smell burning oil. Plugs look perfect, very light tan. What have you guys seen, rings, valve seals? I havent done a leak down or compression test yet, just lookin for easy answers. Any help would be great

It could have carbon build up on one of the rings, try some ring free in the fuel.

Yamaha make a good ring free.
