I have 1997 gtx . Put new sbt motor in it and it runs great out of water. When in the water it will not turn more than 3000 rpm wide open. Sometimes it will up and take off for about a minute then come back down to low rpms. The plug on pto cyclinder looks great but plug on mag is wet like it has flooded. Any suggestions. Ohh yeah airscrews are set so i know thats not it. It has good fire from both plugs. Any suggestions

Your high screws should be all the way in. Your lows should be 1 1/4.
If they are right it sounds like a misfire. Snip off 1/4" of your plug wire ends and screw the boots back on.SBT Tech Support is here to help with your problems.

Snip both wires . Plus even put the wire off my other gtx. Same problem. Loading to much fuel in mag cyclinder.www.leximotorsports.com
606 TEAM LEXIMOTORSPORTS

2004 RXP

Then your needle and seat must be leaking. Is the lever up too high and the tit on the diaphram holding it open ? The needle lever is to be even with the carb body.
