i had the same problem on my 2000 XP and the vacuum hose that went from the Rave solenoid to underneath the block was disconnected, so the rave's were not working. Once i put that back on, it ran great.

I'm talking about the clear plastic check valve that goes on the valve body assembly. Just a thought.

If the hose is cracked you probably have siezed the rear piston. Check the compression of the two clyinders and compare the readings. They should be equal.

If you are asking where to set the LOW speed adjusters, it is between 1.25 and 1.50 turns out. Neither setting should cause a siezure.

I'm just a dumb SD mechanic. In America, a bar is a place we go to drink beer after work. Can you convert that to PSI for me ?

                            1 BAR ~ 15 psi

                            9.8-10.2 ~ 147-153psi
                            12 ~ 180psi

Well, that does not make sense either. Why is he reading 12 bars on his other motor? Is it modified with a high compression head? Or is his guage that far off, meaning at 10 bars he is way low on the compression?
