Yo Rodney, It will run there is something you are overlooking. It probably very simple . Something you dont think will cause it

Try to hold throttle wide open and choke out as you turn the engine over . Make sure fuel is on. That should wet your plugs.

No one train to work on those skis. Must be very certified. Keep me posted. I would like to know what it is . It has me puzzled. I had alot of problems doing mine but it fired up just would not run right untill tuned. Let me know

Rodney.
Try not to cop an attitude here, we are doing our best to help you.

I had a ski like that once in my shop. Turned out the mechanic had used the thicker oring in the RV cover groove. There are two oring sizes for rotary valve covers. The early covers used a smaller diameter oring than the later models. If you have switched the cover with another one, check to see if they both have the same sized groove, and that you have the correct oring in the cover.

Usually, I just pour about 2 tablespoonfuls of fuel into the sparkplug holes with new motors and dry carbs. It speeds up the process of getting the thing started and fuel to the carbs without killing the battery.

If it won't start that way, you have something wrong like the rotary valve was timed off the pto clyinder not the mag clyinder, or the ignition is dead. Or you used the wrong flywheel or stator from a different model motor. Or the rotary valve is not turning with the motor when you crank it over.
