stick it on a trailer and see if you have a water leak anywhere in the cooling supply. We had a 951 we were tuning, after trying to get the low end hesitation out we found it squirted water after the water water box only when you punched it.
This caused a bogging feeling all the way up to about 3500 RPM's. It was hard to find because no water leaked until you whapped the throttle.
Just one more thing to check ...
The more I read about your low end bog it sounds less and less like a low speed jet that is set to many turns out.
I do agree with Thomas , DON'T disconnect the acc. pump, nothing good will come of that IMO.
