Founded in 1997 by Greg Pickren, SBT is the largest remanufacturer of PWC engines in the world. The mission of SBT is to make owning, operating, and maintaining a personal watercraft more affordable. SBT also maintains the largest inventory of jet ski engines. Nobody else comes close. SBT has remanufactured over 110,000 engines over the past 15 years. SBT was the first company to offer production line remanufactured PWC engines.

SBT's Sea-Doo jet ski parts are tested extensively at Alligator Point Research Center. Alligator Point is the only private PWC engine testing lake in the world. The complex is 70 acres with a totally enclosed 40 acre lake. The facility has a stationary dock and living facilities for around the clock testing of PWC parts. At Alligator Point, SBT is able to identify the differences between SBT's PWC engines and OEM jet ski engines. SBT also does PWC testing in the intercoastal waterways in Clearwater, FL. SBT sends out test riders during winter to ride different makes and models of PWC's to ensure that the jet ski parts SBT sells are top quality. This extensive testing and intense research on Seadoo jet ski parts allows SBT to continually improve SBT's design and remanufacturing techniques.
