The shortblock is an assembled lower unit that comes with the head and valve cover gaskets.

The manufacturer warrants the part to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of original retail purchase. This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service. It applies only to manufacturing defects present at the time of production and does not cover damage resulting from misuse, abuse, improper installation, modification, normal wear and tear, accidents, or environmental conditions. The manufacturer’s obligation under this warranty is limited to repair or replacement of the defective product, at its discretion, and does not include labor, removal, reinstallation, or any consequential or incidental damages.
